These pages contain copies of the full texts of the Constitution and a selection of the main recent laws (and bills) of the Republic of Somaliland, as well as relevant articles and commentaries. Other main laws which are in force in Somaliland are also listed and gradually there will be a short summary of the contents of each such law. The laws are compiled and, sometimes, translated into English by Ibrahim Hashi Jama LL.B, LL.M, and any opinions expressed in the comments or articles are those of the author and not, except when so stated clearly, of the Somaliland Forum. Other than the introductory articles and news items, the laws (and bills) are listed under the subject headings in an alphabetical order.
